PHP SDK Overview
The Shield360 PHP SDK exports traces, sends application logs through a Monolog handler, evaluates feature flags, and adds runtime application self-protection (RASP) with request capture for PSR-15 and plain PHP. LLM instrumentation is not part of it yet.
It needs PHP 8.1 or later with ext-json and ext-mbstring. ext-sodium verifies the signed RASP config; without it, RASP runs its built-in defaults in monitor mode.
Install
Section titled “Install”To export traces, also install the OpenTelemetry SDK, the OTLP exporter and a PSR-18 HTTP client:
composer require open-telemetry/sdk open-telemetry/exporter-otlp guzzlehttp/guzzleRASP works without those packages. When the OpenTelemetry SDK is missing, init() falls back to no telemetry.
